YAML to JSON

Guides Open GigaJSON

Convert YAML to JSON. Anchors and aliases are resolved, and a file with several documents (separated by ---) becomes a JSON list. Errors come with their line and column.

How to use it

  1. Paste YAML or open a .yaml file.
  2. The JSON appears as you type.
  3. Copy it, download it, or open it in GigaJSON.

Private, and made for big files

This tool runs in your browser, in a background worker: nothing you paste or open is uploaded, and nothing is kept after you leave. Input is limited to 128 MB. Processing runs in a background worker. If your connection drops while you're here, the tool keeps working. When one tool isn't enough, GigaJSON opens your data with a tree, a table, JSONPath/JMESPath/jq queries, transforms, diff and history.

Questions

Which YAML version is supported?

Is my data uploaded?

No. The tool runs in your browser, in a background worker. Nothing you paste or open goes to a server, and nothing is kept after you leave the page.
